Officers from the Rudna police station, working with officers from the Lubin County Police Headquarters, arrested a 21-year-old man who psychologically and physically abused members of his family from February to June.
– In addition to the charges concerning abuse, the man was charged with other offenses that were proven against him – reports acting asp. Krzysztof Pawlik, deputy press officer of the Lubin County Police Headquarters. – Among other things, the arrested man committed the offense of vehicle theft, intentional property damage and appropriation of someone else’s movable property. These serious charges enabled the officers and the prosecutor to prepare a motion for pre-trial detention, which was granted by the Lubin court.

We remind you that family abuse, theft and property destruction are particularly socially harmful offenses. For each of them, the legislature has provided for a penalty of up to five years in prison.
