23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec:
The Commemorative Ring of the 23rd Artillery Regiment was established on the basis of the approved “Regulations for Awarding the Commemorative Ring of the 23rd Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.”
It is awarded to soldiers, employees, and former soldiers and employees of the 23rd Artillery Regiment and its predecessors. In daily service, it strengthens the principles of ethics, honour and dignity, while also cultivating the traditions of its predecessors.
The uniformed personnel add:
The insignia of the 23rd Artillery Regiment is engraved on the ring’s shield, while its sides feature “historical” motifs: the figure of Saint Barbara, patron saint of artillerymen, and an image of an eagle resting on crossed cannon barrels—a symbol of affiliation with the Rocket Forces and Artillery.
