Officers from the Traffic Division of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a vehicle for a traffic check after it exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area. – It turned out that the driver was in a great hurry because he was taking his father-in-law, who was suffering from acute pain, to a hospital in Zgorzelec – explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds:
The police officers immediately decided to help the driver so that he could safely and as quickly as possible take the person in need to a doctor.
Using their lights and siren, the officers escorted the vehicle carrying the sick man to the hospital. He was taken into the care of a surgeon.
