The incident occurred during the night of June 22–23, at around 1:00 a.m. Volunteer firefighters from Trzebień:
Our GBA 2.5/16 crew was dispatched to a collision between a van and a truck on the 66th kilometre of national road No. 18, in the direction of Wrocław.
The driver of a Renault van, a 39-year-old Ukrainian citizen, rear-ended a Volvo truck. Fortunately, no one was injured. The Renault driver was fined.
The firefighters added:
Our actions consisted of securing the scene and limiting the leakage of operating fluids from the damaged vehicles.
In addition to the firefighters from Trzebień, firefighters from the Bolesławiec JRG and a police patrol took part in the operation.
