A Reader wrote in an email to the editorial office:
Demolition work is currently being carried out on unused gazebos at the allotment gardens on Staroszkolna Street, where homeless people used to live.
And asked:
Is this because the site has been purchased and some development is planned, or is it simply [to] the removal of the gazebos to get rid of the homeless people, who probably bothered local residents?
As we have established, the gazebos are being removed because the site, which is owned by Bolesławiec City Hall, is to be sold. What will be built there is not yet known. A tender has not yet been announced.
