Compassion Polska: Stop the Transport of Live Animals

Every year, millions of farmed animals around the world are transported over enormous distances. The journey to which they are condemned is a drama that many of them will not survive. Crowding, stress, extreme dehydration, exhaustion, hunger, falls, being trampled by other animals, and death. This is what they are exposed to. Those that survive will reach their destination only to die a cruel death at the hands of a slaughterhouse worker.

Every year on June 14, animal defenders join their voices in a global protest against long-distance transport of live animals. This year we cannot meet in person, write the activists from Compassion Polska, but we will make sure that our shared voice resonates widely through the international online campaign.

We will meet at the finale of the online campaign on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
