Police officers from Szklarska Poręba detained a 26-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man suspected of burglary. “As officers determined, the suspects stole fuel on the evening of April 24 from a passenger vehicle parked on one of the streets in Szklarska Poręba. They drilled into the fuel tank and made off with 55 litres of diesel fuel. The total losses, including the damaged tank, were estimated by the victim at PLN 600,” reports Deputy Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra. “The police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail.”
Both suspects could now face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
