The incident occurred on Monday, June 8, before 11:00 a.m., on the road between Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Szczytnica (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). The driver of a Citroën, a 37-year-old man from Wałbrzych, failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a Peugeot, a 38-year-old resident of Kraków.
Both drivers were sober, and both were taken to a hospital in Lubań.
