KPP:

Every day, officers of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec conduct operations aimed at combating drug-related crime. Over the past two days, they arrested three residents of Bolesławiec County suspected of possessing substances prohibited by law. Each arrest concerns a separate case.

“Community police officers arrested a 40-year-old man who had marijuana on him. The two other people were arrested by Criminal Division officers,” explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “A 19-year-old woman was travelling as a passenger in a car driven by a man who violated a court-imposed driving ban when he got behind the wheel. During the driver's inspection, the officers also checked the passenger and found that she had drugs in the form of methamphetamine on her.”

The third person was arrested in Szczytnica. The 30-year-old was caught with marijuana.

The spokeswoman adds:

All those arrested will face charges of possessing narcotic substances, for which they may be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
