Ministry of Health (afternoon statement):
We have 193 new and confirmed cases of infection with #coronavirus from the following voivodeships: Silesian (69), Masovian (66), Lower Silesian (22), Łódź (15), Świętokrzyskie (6), Lubusz (4), Pomeranian (4), Podlaskie (2), Lublin (2), Kuyavian-Pomeranian (1), Greater Poland (1), Opole (1).
It is with regret that we report the deaths of 11 people infected with the coronavirus (age-sex, place of death): 66-M Bydgoszcz, 85-M, 92-F Bolesławiec, 91-F, 85-F, 61-M, 99-F, 81-F Warsaw, 87-M Siedlce, 65-M Gliwice, 94-F Poznań. Most of the people had comorbidities.
Due to the absence of clinical symptoms, the lack of epidemiological indications and repeat testing, the Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Szczecin removed 2 cases of infection from the records. Therefore, we subtract them from the list for the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Number of people infected with the coronavirus: 21631/1007 (all positive cases/of whom deceased).
Number of people recovered: 9276.
Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office (afternoon statement):
We have 22 new cases of coronavirus infection in Lower Silesia. The newly diagnosed people are from Wrocław, Jelenia Góra and Legnica, as well as the following counties: Bolesławiec, Kłodzko, Oleśnica, Środa and Ząbkowice.
The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship is: 2455.
The number of people subject to quarantine or isolation is 3970, the number of people under epidemiological supervision is 1120, and the number of people hospitalized due to suspected or confirmed COVID-19 is 377.
Number of people recovered: 1241.
Since 22 May 7 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have been added in Bolesławiec County, and today we have 167 infections. There are also 77 recovered people in the county. See the map of infections in the counties and cities of Lower Silesia, as of 25 May 2020.
