The service provides access to, among other things, current aerial photographs, a highly accurate orthophotomap and a three-dimensional model of the town. The data cover 10 municipalities: Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec – rural municipality, Gromadka, Nowogrodziec, Osiecznica, Warta Bolesławiecka, Lwówek Śląski, Sulików, Bogatynia and Zawidów.

The new map portal offers many practical features.

Residents can:

  • take precise measurements of plots and buildings without leaving home,
  • view the town in 3D from every side,
  • check information about trees and the condition of greenery in their area,
  • compare contemporary maps with archival aerial photographs,
  • see unique photographs of the town from the period of World War II,
  • check whether the roof of their home is suitable for installing photovoltaic panels.

The new tools make it easier to use municipal services, support spatial planning and improve residents’ access to information. This is another step towards a modern, digital city and convenient e-services.
