The incident occurred on Thursday, May 7, in the afternoon, at one of the stores in the center of Bolesławiec. The 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec pulled out a knife and held it to his neck. He threatened to kill himself.
Police officers subdued the man. A medical rescue team took the 35-year-old to a psychiatric hospital for observation.
