– We want students graduating from schools to be as well prepared as possible to take up work in their professions. Placements and internships are a tremendous help in this regard, because the labour market is becoming increasingly demanding – says Marshal Cezary Przybylski.

The project is being co-implemented by the Lower Silesian regional government together with Bolesławiec County, Kłodzko County, Lubin County, Lwówek County, Oleśnica County, Świdnica County, Wrocław County, the Municipality of Legnica, the Municipality of Wałbrzych and the Municipality of Wrocław.

– We want to support students training in specific professions at schools in our region. Students will have access to internships, placements and, finally, vocational examinations. We want a stream of well-educated young people, specialists in particular industries, to enter the Lower Silesian labour market. A strong workforce guarantees development. We want our region’s economy to develop dynamically. We want to start from the foundations – comments Deputy Marshal Marcin Krzyżanowski.

The project budget exceeds PLN 11.5 million, while funding from the European Social Fund amounts to PLN 9.7 million. The own contribution of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and its Partners is PLN 1.7 million.
