The father of the boy from Nowogrodziec, who had been missing for three days, was questioned at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec. Investigators charged the man under Article 160 of the Criminal Code:

§ 1. Anyone who exposes a person to the immediate danger of loss of life or serious bodily harm shall be subject to a penalty of deprivation of liberty for up to 3 years.

§ 2. If the perpetrator has a duty to care for the person exposed to danger, they shall be subject to a penalty of deprivation of liberty from 3 months to 5 years.

34-year-old Rafał B. will return to prison. Let us recall: he was detained on Monday because he was a wanted person. He has a prison sentence to serve for an offense against property. (At the time of his detention, B. was intoxicated—he had 0.7 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath).

In connection with the above, the prosecutor’s office did not request any other preventive measures, such as temporary detention.
