Officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, operating as part of the SPEED group, noticed a car while patrolling the roads of the county that, during its journey, moved first toward one edge and then toward the other edge of the lane. The officers decided to check what was causing the driver's erratic driving. It turned out that a drunk man was behind the wheel.
A sobriety test of the 46-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County showed over 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
For driving while intoxicated, the man faces up to 2 years in prison, loss of his driving licence and financial consequences.
