In the fundraiser on the zrzutka.pl portal, organized by Łukasz Leśkiewicz, PLN 2,677 was raised. The money was used to purchase disinfectant, which has already been delivered to the hospital.

The company Haier donated washer-dryers to four facilities across the country. One of the machines went to Bolesławiec.

“The Haier washer-dryer was installed at the Emergency Medical Services teams. Being able to wash our clothing after a completed shift is a tremendous relief. In the current situation, we no longer have the dilemma of what to do with our clothes—whether to wash them at home and expose our loved ones, or take them to a laundry,” says Kamil Barczyk, director of the District Hospital in Bolesławiec.

In turn, 20,000 masks and 200 liters of disinfectant were donated by VEKA Polska together with its business partner, the company AMMA. VEKA Polska is looking for allies for initiatives supporting healthcare and care facilities in need; this is already its next such action. Two weeks ago, it donated 10,000 masks to a facility in Skierniewice.

The Mediaexpert chain, together with Beko, donated a dryer, washing machine, stacking kit for connecting the dryer and washing machine, and sets of laundry products to the hospital in Bolesławiec as part of a nationwide campaign in which the chain is donating equipment to hospitals.
