The incident took place on Wednesday, April 22, in the morning. Police officers from Bolesławiec stopped a vehicle carrying three people for inspection.

A 27-year-old man who did not have a driving licence and was wanted by the authorities was behind the wheel. He was arrested.

But that was not the end of it. The passenger—a 34-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County—did not have any documents. She tried to mislead the officers by providing another person’s details.

It emerged that the information was false, and that the woman the officers were dealing with was a 34-year-old wanted by three courts and a prosecutor’s office. She had more than six years of imprisonment to serve for burglary and the theft of a vehicle and documents.

The woman will be taken to prison. Moreover, she will also face charges for possessing methamphetamine, which she had with her at the time of her arrest.
