Wednesday’s shipment of personal protective equipment is assistance provided by the government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the partner region of the Free State of Saxony.

Thanks to an agreement between Marshal Cezary Przybylski and Saxony’s Minister-President Michaela Kretschmera, a laboratory in Dresden diagnoses samples from Lower Silesia for coronavirus every day. These are primarily tests of medical personnel directly involved in fighting the epidemic. Since cooperation began, the laboratory has conducted nearly 3,000 tests.

UMWD:

A few days ago, we also received a delivery of 1,000 protective coveralls and 200 masks from our partners in Germany. Cooperation between Lower Silesia and the Free State of Saxony has continued for more than 20 years.
