Bolesławiec is carrying on with life during the epidemic. The government had provided money to purchase laptops for schools, which were to be given to children from less well-off families in time for remote learning. The municipality remained tight-lipped.

“Bolesławiec municipality was awarded PLN 70,000 under the Operational Programme Digital Poland. Consequently, we announced a request for quotations for the purchase of 70 tablets with keyboards and cases,” informs Karolina Wieczorek, junior inspector for promotion and public relations at the Bolesławiec Municipal Office. “Ultimately, they will be given to those students who need them during remote learning. The bids will be opened on 22 April this year.”

K. Wieczorek adds: “The Bolesławiec Municipal Office has continued to operate without interruption during the epidemic, and all current matters, as well as planned tasks, are being handled without delays.”
