Now in […] village, the village head has confirmed coronavirus […]; in such a situation, shouldn’t this information nevertheless be passed on to residents? So that nobody goes there? […] Will anyone understand that a rural community functions somewhat differently? And that things need to be viewed more directly. […] The municipality remains silent. We need to realize that there is a difference between a public figure and a private individual. […] the point is that the office should at least inform residents in a brief announcement that they should not contact the village head. […]. This is no longer about an individual. Please believe me, in such a […] village, it will only take a moment.”
We asked for comment on the matter. The deputy head of Gmina Bolesławiec responded.
– Gmina Bolesławiec does not receive personal data from institutions holding such information about infected people or people undergoing quarantine who are staying within our municipality – writes in his response Roman Jaworski, deputy head. – Only the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Kruszyna receives a daily numerical report from the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Bolesławiec, without personal data – the deputy head informs us.
