The incident occurred on Sunday, April 19, before 5:00 p.m., near Krzyżowa (Gromadka Municipality). The rider of a Kawasaki motorcycle, a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the two-wheeler and fell into a roadside ditch.
The man was drunk; he had 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He was injured and taken to a hospital in Legnica.
