A group of approximately 50 members of the staff of the Emergency Service in Jelenia Góra, including paramedics and the unit’s management, has been placed in quarantine. The quarantine also applies to the director of the Emergency Service, Nikolaj Lambrinow. Tests confirming or ruling out coronavirus infection among the Emergency Service crew will be carried out immediately.

– The Emergency Service in Jelenia Góra continues to operate in four counties and provides medical assistance to the residents of the Jelenia Góra Valley. The teams stationed in Kamienna Góra will be supported by units of the Emergency Service in Wałbrzych. Paramedics from the Jelenia Góra Emergency Service will respond to calls wearing full protective equipment. – Once the test performed on the director of the Emergency Service has been received and coronavirus infection has been ruled out, Nikolaj Lambrinow will be able to assume leadership of the Provincial Hospital Centre of the Jelenia Góra Valley.
