Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec conducted 165 interventions from 10 to 13 April, checked the identities of more than 420 people and arrested 13 perpetrators of crimes in the act.

In addition, officers apprehended seven wanted people, including a 28-year-old man wanted under a European Arrest Warrant, as well as two intoxicated drivers and four people who violated the law by getting behind the wheel.

“Officers arrested three people for possessing narcotic drugs, as well as the perpetrator of an attempted burglary at a shop, who was apprehended by an employee of the commercial establishment,” says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “The holiday period was exceptionally calm on the roads of Bolesławiec County; over four days, police officers recorded only six road collisions.”

Moreover, police officers conducted checks on people staying in home quarantine, patrolled the grounds of the Bolesławiec hospital and inspected various places where people might gather.

In connection with the ban on movement in force, Bolesławiec police officers checked more than 220 people and 130 vehicles.
