Ministry of the Environment:
Unfortunately, recent days have shown that, despite requests and appeals, many people continue to use the period of isolation for picnics and social gatherings, including in areas managed by the State Forests. Therefore, pursuant to Article 11(2) of the Act of March 2, 2020 on special solutions related to the prevention, counteracting and combating of COVID-19, other infectious diseases and the crises caused by them, and in connection with § 17(1) of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 31, 2020 on establishing certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the occurrence of a state of epidemic, the Director General of the State Forests and the Directors of National Parks ordered the introduction of a temporary entry ban, in effect through April 11 inclusive. The Forest Guard and National Park Guards will enforce compliance with this ban.
During an epidemic, only solidarity and responsible conduct offer hope of shortening it and returning quickly to normal functioning. We ask you to take these bans seriously, for the sake of us all. Human life and health are the overriding values. We can protect them only by jointly submitting to the necessary and temporary restrictions.
