Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters are conducting proceedings concerning the misappropriation of money. The crime took place in February this year in the Bolesławiec municipality.

A man came to the currency exchange office located by DK18 in the middle of the night. He wanted to exchange currency. “During the payout in Polish złoty, the customer suddenly changed the amount of money being exchanged. As a result of a mistake, the currency exchange office employee gave him an amount nearly PLN 5,000 higher than he was entitled to,” says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. “The man did not return to the currency exchange office and did not return the surplus.”

The photograph shows the person suspected of committing the crime.
