The incident occurred on Monday (30 March) in the afternoon, in the economic zone near Szczytnica. The driver of the minibus, a 26-year-old from Silesian Voivodeship, failed to give way to a truck.
A collision occurred, as a result of which four people travelling in the minibus were injured. An air ambulance helicopter flew in for one of them, a woman. The helicopter transported the injured woman to a hospital in Nowa Sól.

Our actions consisted of securing the scene and providing first aid to the injured.
In addition to the firefighters from Krzyżowa, the operation involved firefighters from Bolesławiec (three units) and Różyniec, two emergency medical teams, LPR, as well as the police.
