The incident occurred on Thursday, March 26, before 11:00 a.m., in the Przylesie housing estate in Bolesławiec, near the church. Workers building a parking lot dug up an unexploded ordnance item. Another one was found later.
The construction workers were ordered to stop work. The matter will now be handled by soldiers from Demining Patrol No. 23 of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.
