The Ministry of Health has released the latest data on coronavirus infections:

There are 11 new cases of #coronavirus infection, confirmed by positive laboratory test results. The confirmed cases concern: 3 people from the Lublin Voivodeship, 3 people from Lower Silesia, 2 people from the Greater Poland Voivodeship, and 1 person each from the Podkarpackie, Podlaskie and Lesser Poland voivodeships.

At the same time, we regret to inform you that the sixth person infected with coronavirus has died at the hospital in Łańcut (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). She was a 27-year-old woman who was in serious condition.

In total, the number of people infected with coronavirus is: 378/6 (all positive cases/of whom deceased).

New infection cases in Lower Silesia

As for the 3 coronavirus infection cases in Lower Silesia, one person is hospitalized in a hospital in Wrocław. The other two have been placed under home quarantine. In total, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship is 56, including 2 deceased people.

A 27-year-old woman infected with coronavirus died at the hospital in Łańcut. However, everything indicates that the direct cause of the patient's death was sepsis, not coronavirus. This information was provided by doctors from the hospital in Łańcut.

The cause of the 27-year-old woman's death at the hospital in Łańcut was not coronavirus, which is why she is not included in the statistics of people who died due to coronavirus infection.
