Although a considerable amount of time has passed since the end of World War II, unexploded ordnance is still occasionally found.

On 16 March, a resident of the Lwówek Śląski municipality found unexploded ordnance while walking in the forest. The 105 mm artillery shell from World War II was lying near an old brickworks between Mojesz and Płóczki Górne.

The unexploded ordnance was secured by the Bomb-Disposal Patrol from Bolesławiec and transported to a training ground, where it will be neutralized.
