An airlock is a barrier against the spread of the virus in a hospital. Creating airlocks between wards is a procedure that increases safety. There, staff prepare to enter patients’ rooms, including by changing protective clothing and footwear used on the hospital premises. Until now, such airlocks were required by operating rooms; now, due to coronavirus infections, the facility needs to be reorganized.
