“On Saturday, Starosta Gabrysiak and I came up with this idea,” Bolesławiec Mayor istotne.pl told Piotr Roman. “The idea was submitted to the voivode and received his approval.”
What is this about? The hospital and the municipal government are looking for a supplier of nonwoven fabric from which protective suits could be sewn in Bolesławiec. Funding is available for this purpose. A local sewing workshop could start sewing as many as 600–700 suits tomorrow. (And perhaps another facility will join the process.)
The daily demand for this type of suit at the Bolesławiec district hospital is approximately 300, so the surplus could be sent to other healthcare facilities.
If anyone has contact details for nonwoven fabric manufacturers, we appeal to them to contact the Bolesławiec municipal office or the istotne.pl editorial team.
