23 Śląski Pułk Artylerii:

The aim of the training was to improve the skills of the squadron’s PKOD crew in carrying out activities related to preparing and organizing fire direction, as well as to coordinate the rocket artillery batteries in performing live-fire tasks with combat ammunition.

During the Fire Direction Training, batteries of the 3rd Rocket Artillery Squadron (122 mm WR-40 Langusta) carried out tasks from concealed firing positions during the day and at night. In addition, the reconnaissance system was coordinated using the LIWIEC RZRZ and FLY EYE UAV. The reconnaissance forces and assets performed firing-support tasks, including fire-accuracy checks.

Reserve soldiers completing short-term training also carried out live-fire tasks as part of the exercising squadron. The 3rd Rocket Artillery Battery, equipped with 122 mm RM-70 launchers, consisted of reserve soldiers.

The Ulewa-20 Fire Direction Training enabled the squadron commander to assess and verify the level of maintained combat readiness and the effectiveness of the subunit’s operations, as well as to draw conclusions for further training.
