At noon, it was reported that the first person infected with coronavirus in Poland had died. She was a 57-year-old woman. She had been hospitalized in one of Poznań's hospitals.
The woman also had other serious medical conditions.

The 57-year-old was the first person in Greater Poland to be confirmed infected with SARS-CoV-2. The woman was staying in the infectious diseases ward of the Józef Struś Municipal Multidisciplinary Hospital in Poznań. Her condition had been serious from the beginning. She had symptoms of pneumonia with a very severe clinical course, was connected to a respirator and kept in a medically induced coma.
(There are still two people infected with this disease in the same hospital. They are feeling well).
