Following the arrangements made after the meeting of the Government Crisis Management Team chaired by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki [...] on 8 March 2020, after analysing the epidemiological situation related to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the Chief Sanitary Inspector recommends cancelling all mass events attended by more than 1,000 people and organised indoors.
The organisation of mass events is assessed on each occasion in terms of risk in order to ensure the health safety of participants. Decisions are made by the voivode, who may request recommendations from the State Provincial Sanitary Inspector or, in exceptional cases involving particularly complicated circumstances, from the Chief Sanitary Inspector.
