The incident took place last week in Łódź Voivodeship. Four officers from Lower Silesia, including a traffic officer from Bolesławiec, were returning home from training.
At one point, the officers noticed a vehicle that had turned out of a minor road. Its driver began making dangerous maneuvers: he was driving onto the shoulder and into the adjacent lane.
The Lower Silesian officers notified local law enforcement and stopped the car themselves, taking the keys from the driver.
The Lower Silesian police officers’ suspicions were confirmed. The driver of the vehicle in question was completely drunk; the test showed nearly 2‰ of alcohol in his exhaled air.
KPP Bolesławiec:
The driver faces up to 2 years in prison, a driving ban and financial penalties.
