The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 4, at around 7:00 a.m. An officer from the Investigative Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, who was on his way to work, noticed an unconscious woman lying near a bus stop on Łasicka Street, with a group of people beside her.
As it turned out, a medical rescue team had already been called to the scene. The police officer placed the woman in the recovery position.
When the ambulance arrived and the decision was made to take the woman to hospital, the officer told the paramedics that he would look after the injured woman’s daughters.
The result? The girls—aged 8 and 4—spent the morning at the Bolesławiec police headquarters. They were cared for, among others, by female police officers. There was also a sweet treat.
Their mother, who had already been discharged from hospital, picked them up shortly afterward. Fortunately, the woman had not suffered anything more serious. (Nevertheless, the police officer who helped her urged her to undergo medical examinations so that situations of this kind would not happen again).
