Officers from the Border Guard Post in Zgorzelec inspected a Daewoo Lanos passenger car driven by a Polish citizen. In the vehicle’s structural compartments, the border guards found 60,480 cigarettes without Polish excise-duty markings. The value of the contraband was approximately PLN 43,000.
The man admitted to illegally transporting the cigarettes. He was detained.
