Bolesławiec police officers detained a 33-year-old man who had been temporarily staying in our county. The man is suspected of committing three crimes.

“All the incidents occurred in January this year at various retail outlets. The man committed two shop thefts, taking, among other things, perfume and clothing,” says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. “In addition, the 33-year-old is suspected of committing a robbery; he attacked a shop assistant with gas and stole cigarettes.”

The total value of the losses caused by the 33-year-old’s criminal activity amounted to PLN 1,300.

The court ordered the man’s temporary detention for three months. The suspect could now face a prison sentence of between two and as many as twelve years.
