On February 17, district police officers from the County Police Headquarters stopped a vehicle on one of the streets in Bolesławiec. A 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, known to the officers, was behind the wheel.

The officers knew that the man was breaking the law by driving a car, as a driving ban had been in effect against him since 2017.
Interestingly, the fact that he currently has not one but TWO active court bans did not stop the man. The earlier one, issued by the District Court in Bolesławiec, remains in effect until April this year. The second one, imposed by the court in Legnica, remains in effect until… November 2024.
The 35-year-old now faces between three months and as many as five years in prison.
