KGP:

Ensuring the safety of children and young people during winter holidays is a priority for the Polish Police. Inspections of buses transporting them to holiday destinations are an important part of ensuring their safety.

During the inspections, officers will primarily check the bus’s technical condition and equipment, the driver’s qualifications, and sobriety.

Police officers have prepared a list of locations where the technical condition of buses and the drivers of buses transporting children and young people to holiday destinations will be inspected. The list includes points throughout the country, along with contact telephone numbers where detailed information can be obtained about the possibility of carrying out ad hoc inspections of buses and drivers. In Bolesławiec County, the location is the PKS depot at Modłowa Street (tel. 75 649 62 23).

The uniformed officers add:

A request for an inspection can also be submitted in person at any Police unit or by telephone.

It is advisable to inform police officers about a planned trip several days in advance. This can help avoid a longer wait for a police patrol to arrive.
