A British hand-held anti-personnel grenade from the Second World War was found in a field in Gościszów. “It is a rare item in our area,” say soldiers from Clearance Patrol No. 23 of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.
Sappers:
Mining and explosive ordnance disposal operations were carried out: the grenade was detonated at the site where it was found (because of the poor condition of the safety lever and the pin).
