Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn, conducting operational activities, arrested three men suspected of committing several offenses. All the incidents took place in January 2020. (Those arrested are residents of Bolesławiec County aged between 30 and 40.)
One of the incidents took place in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. All three arrested men took part in the theft of central-heating components and plumbing fixtures.
Other criminal acts took place in the Bolesławiec municipality. The youngest suspect was involved in them, changing his accomplices. The charges include arson, as a result of which a vehicle and a container were destroyed.
Bolesławiec police:
The three suspects were charged with a total of eight offenses involving the theft of catalytic converters and heating components, property damage, and attempted vehicle theft.
The officers recovered some of the stolen property. All those arrested had been convicted previously. They now face a sentence ranging from three months to as much as five years in prison.
