The first, a Mercedes, worth PLN 400,000, was purchased with financial support from the Ministry of Health. The hospital paid for the second ambulance from its own budget.
The first ambulance is fully equipped and has been incorporated into the State Emergency Medical System. It is fitted with a stretcher and a chair featuring modern safety systems to protect the transported patient from falling.
Most importantly, the ambulance contains life-saving equipment, including a defibrillator, infusion pumps, systems monitoring patients’ vital signs, and anti-shock kits.
The second ambulance is used to transport patients between hospitals.
