Criminal investigators from Jelenia Góra and police officers from Kowary detained two men suspected of offending religious feelings. The detainees are residents of Kowary, aged 23 and 27.
As officers established, between 16 and 18 January, the suspects desecrated objects of religious worship by destroying religious statues in the area of Karpacz and Kowary. “They have desecrated eight places of religious worship,” says Sub-Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.
