Police officers from the Zgorzelec NYSA group received information about where a vehicle stolen in Germany was being kept. On one of the properties in Zgorzelec Commune, officers seized a BMW worth nearly PLN 85,000, as well as equipment used to steal cars.
During the operation, officers arrested a 38-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County and two residents of Wałbrzych County, aged 26 and 33. In addition, officers seized from the 26-year-old a phone originating from a vehicle break-in that took place in Zgorzelec at the beginning of January. Moreover, the 33-year-old was wanted by the Świdnica District Prosecutor’s Office.

On the basis of the evidence collected, the 38-year-old and the 26-year-old were charged with handling stolen goods. Police officers are carrying out activities aimed at clarifying all the circumstances related to the crime.
The suspects face between three months and five years in prison.
