Bolesławiec criminal investigators, conducting operational activities, identified the suspects in a vehicle theft. The crime took place in mid-December 2019. The vehicle, worth PLN 30,000, was stolen from a garage.
Based on the collected evidence, officers identified two men who had committed the burglary together. A resident of Zgorzelec County was arrested on one of the streets of Bolesławiec. KPP Bolesławiec:
Joint actions by criminal investigators and traffic police officers resulted in the vehicle driven by the perpetrator being stopped.
Shortly afterwards, the second suspect was also apprehended by officers.
The 32-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County and the 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County acted together and in concert. The aforementioned car was repainted and sold. Steps are being taken to recover the stolen property.
Both arrested men could now face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
