The incident occurred on Saturday, January 18, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in Nowogrodziec. The services were dispatched to a “sudden cardiac arrest in an adult in Nowogrodziec.” Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec::
One of our firefighters, responding to the call and seeking to shorten the time before medical procedures could begin, went directly to the scene. Upon arrival, he immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
A short while later, our unit arrived with a full crew and continued the rescue effort using medical equipment, including an AED (defibrillator). Several minutes later, two units from the Bolesławiec State Fire Service rescue and firefighting unit and an ambulance arrived.

Unfortunately, despite the emergency response launched immediately and around an hour of efforts by firefighters and paramedics, a doctor pronounced the person dead.
