By symbolically presenting weapons to representatives of the training company platoons, the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Colonel Grzegorz Potrzuski, congratulated them on the distinction, wishing them perseverance and success during their training:
The presentation of weapons, alongside taking the military oath, is a symbol of readiness to defend the homeland. I would particularly like to emphasize the symbolism of the weapon, an attribute of a soldier, which serves to maintain the security and sovereignty of our country.
I sincerely congratulate you and thank you for deciding to link your future with the military. I wish you perseverance in acquiring soldiers’ skills and hope that, after completing your preparatory service, you will join the ranks of the soldiers of our unit.
In the further part of the assembly, Colonel Potrzuski welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Marek Wasielewski, appointed deputy commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, and presented the act of appointment to the rank of lieutenant colonel to Dariusz Kramarski, who assumed the duties of commander of the rocket artillery squadron.
