The offenders first broke into a residential building during the Christmas holidays and, taking advantage of the owner’s absence, stole jewelry, commemorative medals and a laptop.
On New Year’s Eve, the same perpetrators stole a winch used by workers carrying out renovation work.
The detainees are residents of Bolesławiec County, aged 20 and 21. One of them has already committed property-related offenses.
The police recovered some of the stolen items. Both suspects now face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
