Miner Jan Olesiak Honored by the Marshal and Bolesławiec County Authorities

Jan Olesiak, vice-president of the Bolesławiec District Board of the Association of Retired and Disabled Former Employees of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., was awarded the silver medal “Distinguished for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship” by the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

During the December session of the Bolesławiec County Council, Jan Olesiak received a letter of congratulations from the county authorities in recognition of his work and commitment to preserving mining traditions, as well as his care for former KGHM employees.

Thanks to people like you, the toil of miners earns social recognition, while miners who, sweating as they struggle with the power of nature, enjoy widespread respect.

Many of you lose your health as a result of hard work and accidents. Many leave for the eternal shift far too soon. You do not allow them to be forgotten.
